Keahu Kahuanui, who played Danny Mahealani in the Teen Wolf series, has been cast as the new lover of the vampire Joshua "Josh" Rosza in the season 4 of The Originals.
According to TVLine, he will be playing a human named Eddie in the series. The character of Keahu will be very much aware of the supernatural surroundings but he will have no desire to be anything other than human. He is reportedly set to play a sweet, funny, sexy and charming character debuting in episode 2.
The 30 year old is well versed being around supernatural characters as seen in the TV series he has acted in.
The horror-fiction series features a family of vampires settled down in the city of New Orleans that they helped to construct several decades ago. Here they encounter old buddies and face new enemies.
The third season premiered on October 8, 2015 and the upcoming one is set for a midseason release on The CW in 2017.
The last season saw a rift continuing to divide brothers Klaus and Elijah after the deadly showdown with Dahlia, the powerful witch. On the other hand, Freya was shown raising Hope.
The fourth season is going to pick up a few other additions. According to TVLine, Christiana Moses will play Keelin, a bisexual fierce werewolf and Neil Jackson will play a mysterious vampire called Alistair.
The following season will feature a five-year time leap which will make things more exciting for fans.
