Art work – To the son I never knew
“After sobbing my way through both books again, I was unable to write about a particular piece. As it stands today, if I did write I think it might be depressing (heart broken not to have children, never experienced love like what's on these pages, didn't know it existed, didn't know a man could express himself this way etc).”
The above quote was sent to me from someone who recently read my books The Bard from Ballarat Volume One and Two. I don’t know which photographs or poems they connected with the most but I’ve chosen these pages to share with you today as it’s one of the poems I get the most reactions to. Authors don’t often hear from their fans so any time you love someone’s work let them know.
