A group of Christians were allegedly interrupted in their mission to evangelise a group of Hindus in Iddrahalli area in Gudibande.
According to the report by Chakra News, a group of Christians, led by a pastor named Sammy James have been sharing the Word of God to convert some Hindus in the area when the Hindu Defense League came.
The Defense League, led by Sharan Bhagwath, reportedly watched James share the gospel to the people. Afterwards, he questioned the pastor what their purpose in the place was.
In the report, the pastor allegedly answered that they were in the area to discuss some social issues like rape and poverty.
Pastor James then left on a hired bus with his fellow Christians. The report said he was leaving for good.
There have been a spike in incidences of government crackdown against Christians who preach the Gospel in order to 'convert' Hindus to Christianity.
