Will Graham, grandson to legendary evangelist Billy Graham, preached to a crowd of over 23,000 in his first every visit to the country.
"There was only one person who stood on your behalf and died for you," Graham told the audience.
"The only hope for our spiritual need is Jesus Christ. Today you can be made whole, but only if you're willing to come to Him."
780 people responded to the call and committed their lives to Christ.
The event, Celebration of Good News with Will Graham, was held in the third largest city, also capital to the Western Highlands Province.
According to the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, ongoing rain prompted an urgent call for prayer leading up to the event.
"It had been raining for four weeks...so when we got there we used social media and e-mail to ask people to pray," said Graham.
"With everyone praying, it turned to sunshine and didn't rain for four days. We thank God for that!"
Graham's wife, Kendra, also preached in a special women's service. Speaking from Matthew 8, she told the 600 women gathered that God uses hardships in life to draw people to the feet of Jesus.
"We are to worship God even through our hardships and infirmities," she exhorted.
Another 100 turned to Christ after hearing her preach.
The outreach is the last of Graham's evangelistic missions planned for the year. Graham had also spoken in Clinton, Mississippi; Broken Hill, Australia; Fukuoka, Japan; and Moratuwa, Sri Lanka.
