A pastor's home was ransacked by burglars earlier this week, stealing all sorts of gifts in time for Christmas.
Simon Patterson, pastor of Parkstone Evangelical Free Church in Poole, Dorset, was shocked when he went home Sunday night after a carol service after finding out that burglars have targeted his home. The door was slightly open when he and his wife arrived in their house.
He found that the gifts kept inside a wardraobe were all missing. Aside from the gifts, other things were also stolen.
According to the report by The Telegraph, the burglars stole gifts for Patterson's children, other stolen things include a tablet, and a bag with mobile phone, purse and digital camera.
"They took everything which was wrapped for Christmas, but not everything we own."
In spite the mischief, pastor Patterson was still grateful that the burglars did not steal every possession they have.
In the report, members of Parkstone Evangelical Free Church immediately took action and made contributions to help their pastor get gifts for his four children, which includes a including a four-year-old, a two-year-old and 11-month-old twins.
