One of the largest megachurches in the United States, Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale (CCFL), is hosting a concert to greet the upcoming new year.
The Florida-based church's new year concert will be held on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 from 8:30 PM to 11:59 PM. The venue is the Fort Lauderdale Main Campus.
Church members are encouraged to ring in the new year with each other and the Calvary Chapel's pastors. Attendees can expect a night of worship, Bible teaching, dining, and other entertaining activities.
CCFL has an average of 30,000 worshippers and was founded back in 1985 by Bob Coy. The church has had the honour of having famous Christian leaders speak at some of their events. These personalities include Billy Graham, Greg Laurie, Max Lucado, Kirk Cameron, Tony Evans and more.
CCFL is also putting together a Christmas event. It will be held on Wednesday, December 24, 2014. The time varies depending on the location. The megachurch has nine Florida-based campus spots. These are Plantation, Hollywood, Boca Raton, Florida Keys (Tavernier), West Boca, Boynton Beach, Naples, North Lauderdale, and Villages (Wildwood).
