Chelsea are now 11 wins in a row, something not seen for some time in the Premier League as they threaten to run away with the title.
With still more than half the season to play, Chelsea had an impressive away win at Crystal Palace on Saturday, with a bullish header from Costa to win 1-0 and are now 7 points clear of nearest rivals.
Super Sunday showcased Manchester City hosting Arsenal. The gunners have been in great form, but struggled at the City of Manchester Stadium as City came from a goal down to win 2-1.
De Bruyne was sensational as Sterling scored a 71st minute winner to climb above Arsenal into 2nd position. The defeat leaves the gunners 4th and in real danger of slipping out of the Champions league places.
Super Sundays other fixtures also saw the battle of the south as Southampton won at Bournemouth 3-1 to go ahead of Bournemouth and climb up to 7th in the table. Spurs finished off the day with a 2-1 win at home however Burnley made life difficult for Spurs & came close to leaving with a point.
Saturday's late afternoon fixture saw United return to form with a great 2-0 win away at West Brom. A brace from the ever in form Ibrahimovic, ensured United are now only 4 points off a champions league placing.
Other Saturday matches saw Stoke & Leicester take a share of the spoils with a late comeback for Leicester after Vardy was sent off. The fox's & champions scored 2 late goals to level 2-2.
West Ham scored a critical win at the Olympic stadium, winning 1-0 over fellow relegation struggler's Hull City.
Sunderland also won a 6 pointer, beating Watford 1-0 at home whilst Middlesbrough found amazing form to dispatch a poor Swansea City 3-0 and ensure Swansea are now equal bottom of the table and in real danger of losing touch with safety.
