I drew this piece of common Christian themed tattoo designs because I find the book of Leviticus to be a frustrating piece of scripture.
Many things mentioned in Leviticus - Christians for the most part, tend to be okay with (like tattoos) and understand that those rules were for certain situations within an ancient culture that have little to nothing to do with Christianity in our modern context.
But, a particular verse isn’t treated the same as the others. It is treated as relevant today as it was back then, minus the counter argument of mistranslation. A certain verse that I would argue is harmful… But that’s just my opinion.
