A video taken by Nigerian terrorist group Boko Haram made its way to international journalists over the weekend, showing the brutal killing of about 100 individuals who were reported to be non-Muslims.
According to the report by Persecution.org, the terrorists used a dormitory-like hall where they placed the victims lying face down. After loading magazines into their weapons, the members of the Boko Haram then begin to shoot each victim using their AK-47s. Anyone who was seen moving as a response to the gun shots would be shot next.
In the report, the Boko Haram killed about 100 people while shouting 'Allahu Akbar', which if interpreted means 'Allah is great'.
In the clip which was shown to the international press, one of the speakers of the group stated that more of these 'infidels' or non-Muslims will die in 'future attacks'.
"From now, killing, slaughtering, destruction and bombing will be our religious duty anywhere we invade", says the spokesperson.
Earlier this month, the terrorist group abducted more than 185 women and children after a massacre in Gumsuri village where members of the Boko Haram killed dozens of men.
Established in the 1990s, the Boko Haram was once a peaceful group, led by its founding leader Mohammad Yousef. However, the group suddenly became a deadly threat to Christians and other non-Muslims in Nigeria after Abubakar Shekau became its leader.
Since 2013, Nigeria has been in the watchlist of most dangerous countries for Christians due to the rise of the Boko Haram. In the report, the terrorist group has killed more than 1,800 Christians in the African nation.
