It seems unlikely fans of Netflix hit series 'Fuller House' will see an appearance from Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen.
Their emergence would have made the revamped series from 90's a lot more interesting, but according to Jodie Sweetin who plays Stephanie Tanner, sister of the twins, it is not happening as they have literally "given up" while trying convincing the sisters to be a part of the show, she told ET. The twins are reportedly afraid to face the camera considering that they are no longer acting.
Despite the sad news, Sweetin has promised a line-up of celebrity cameos in the season 2 spinoff, which is currently on production.
"We have a lot. A lot of people that have been talked about for like 30 years are going to be on the show. It's going to be a lot of fun," she said at the premiere of Kubo and the Two Strings at Los Angeles.
According to the cast, there will also be a special Thanksgiving episode.
So how will the revamped series look without the original cast?
"I'm sure we've all had family reunions and not everyone shows up," creator Jeff Franklin said at the Television Critics Association's press tour in January.
"But we still love them and the door is always open and I hope it happens," he added.
Bob Saget who played the father of the girls called Danny Tanner, also supported the absence by saying, "Well, Michelle sends her love, but she's busy in New York running her fashion empire."
Bob Saget, Lori Loughlin, John Stamos, and Dave Coulier will make guest appearances in the show with Candace Cameron-Bure, Andrea Barber, and Sweetin as the regular cast.
