Apple fans don't need to wait much longer as the new iPad Air 3 is expected to launch in just a few weeks, while the low cost version of the tablet is rumored to be released in 2017.
According to reports, the iPad Air 3 is expected to be laden with the latest technology developed by the tech giant. To power the device for smooth functionality, Apple is speculated to be using the Apple A9 or A9X chipset.
Fans can also expect their tablet to be robust and slimmer than before. Apple is said to be working on some new and improved technologies to incorporate harder aluminium to the devices' chassis.
This can definitely push the existing and prospective customers to go for iPad Air 3 as iPad Air is traditionally a crowd-puller with the company revealing that it sold 200 million tablets in the Air's 9.7inch form factor. The iPad Air 3 will feature stereo speakers and will run by iOS 10.
There is also speculation regarding the name of the new device. It might not be called the Air, but something else entirely. It is expected to come in a string of colors including Gold, Rose Gold, Silver, and Space Grey. Though not sure how it will sit on a tablet, there are rumours of a possible digital crown and a mechanical input like the Apple Watch.
A Smart Connector on the left-hand edge is also speculated also with a RAM upgrade.
But since nothing is confirmed by the company at the moment, fans will need to wait and see.
