Mockingjay actress Jennifer Lawrence sure understands the true meaning of Christmas, and she managed to touch a lot of hearts recently during her low-key hospital visit on Christmas day.
She surprised dozens of children that day, and it seems like her visit to Kosair Children's Hospital in her hometown of Louisville, Kentucky is fast becoming an annual tradition for the star.
She talked to the kids and shared stories of her childhood, when she used to work as an assistant nurse during summers. That is probably the reason why she told the Los Angeles Times in 2010 that "it's impossible to shock me or gross me out."
Lawrence also posted several pictures she took with the kids and hospital staff, who were all so happy to have the star with them on Christmas day.
The hospital tweeted their appreciation for Lawrence's visit: "Thank you for visiting the kids yesterday. We know it meant a lot to them and brightened their day."
