To say that people are very excited for the film Avengers: Age of Ultron is quite an understatement.
A short teaser to the second trailer of the film has already generated over two million views in a span of just 48 hours.
The teaser is only 16 seconds long, showing glimpses of the Avengers cast, including Thor, Black Widow, Captain America, Hawkeye, and Iron Man in action. The teaser also reveals details about the actual trailer's release date.
"On January 12, see the exclusive trailer premiere for Avengers: Age of Ultron," the voiceover teases.
The actual trailer will be shown during the NCAA College Football Playoff National Championship game on ESPN Monday, January 12, and will be available online shorty after its debut.
The first trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron has received an impressive 63 million views and counting, and has broken all of Marvel's records for most viewed trailer. During the first 24 hours of its release, parent company Disney revealed that the upcoming film managed to generate a whopping 34.3 million global views.
Coming in second for most viewed trailer is the Iron Man 3 teaser, which raked in 23.14 million views within the first 24 hours of its availability.
Other trailer contenders were Captain America: The Winter Soldier (23.5 million views), Guardians of the Galaxy (22.8 million) and the original Avengers film (20.4 million), according to Entertainment Weekly.
Avengers: Age of Ultron stars Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Chris Evans (Captain America), Mark Ruffalo (Hulk), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), Chris Hemsworth (Thor) and Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow).
Other actors featured in the film include Cobie Smulders (Maria Hill), Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Quicksilver), Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch), Paul Bettany (The Vision), Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury), Andy Serkis and James Spader (Ultron).
Avengers: Age of Ultron is scheduled to hit theaters on May 1, 2015.
