Nintendo recently revealed that that the classic NES console will support a number of different TV options. Featuring a few modes that will replicate the look of CRT screens, displaying each pixel as square and 4:3 aspect ratio.
The console will come with 30 pre-installed games, including Super Mario Bros, The Legend of Zelda, and more.
According to Nintendo Everything, the game maker's communication manager in Canada, Julie Gagnon, said that "players are now able to play through HDMI, but there will be different modes of how we will see the screen - a mode stimulating the retro aspect of the old CRT screens, there will be a mode which can be at the resolution of the modern screens in 4:3 format, and a pixel mode which will display each pixel as square."
She also revealed that there will be permanent save points and instant temporary saves to be able to resume and that's for every single one of the 30 games, so players don't have to worry about having a save password, or needing to restart from the very beginning.
The console was modelled after the original NES that launched 30 years ago and will reportedly be available from November 11 in the U.K. and North America for around £50 (around US $65).
It seems that the controller can also be used to play Virtual Console games on Wii and Wii U.
