Australian-American Christian singer Rebecca St. James promoted her brothers' new album on Twitter, calling it "excellent".
Her successful Nashville-based brothers Joel and Luke Smallbone's group "for King & Country" - which has been critically acclaimed as "Australia's answer to Coldplay" - recently released the album "Run Wild, Live Free, Love Strong" through Warner Music Group.
On her Twitter account @RebeccaStJames, the Grammy-winning singer, posted on New Year's day, "No Turning Back. New years anthem on Rebecca's bros excellent new album. Last days at $7.99", followed by links to iTunes.
St. James is an active voice in the Christian community, calling for sexual abstinence and advocating pro-life. Her last album was released in 2011 as she has been working as an author of Christian books recently.
As for her brothers, it has been two years since "for King & Country" released an album. Their last LP, Crave, was also produced by Warner Music and received acclaim from both fans and critics alike.
The Christian pop duo rose to fame relatively fast, with praises from respected music critics such as Billboard. Billboard once stated "for King & Country" was one of the "New Artists To Watch" while SUSIE Magazine dished out more compliments, printing:
"It takes only one listen to the brothers' rich, upbeat, alternative sounds and thoughtful lyrics to understand their sudden popularity."
Run Wild, Live Free, Love Strong may be purchased as a digital download via iTunes or as a CD.
