Helen, Noah's ex-wife on Showtime's popular TV show The Affair, is not in a very good space now. Noah, meanwhile, is apparently not on the same page as his ex-wife. He has a new love interest to pursue, as Vine Report explains.
The new woman in his life goes by the name of Juliette Le Gall. Actress Irène Jacob portrays Juliette, who reportedly has secrets of her own to deal with. However, she's going to be instrumental in helping Noah on his journey of self-discovery after he admits his guilt in the murder of Scotty Lockhart.
So with Noah all set to move on, where does that leave poor Helen? Speaking to TV Guide, actress Maura Tierney, who portrays Helen on screen, revealed, "She does [want him back]. She's not going to get him, I don't think. But she thinks it's going to be some sort of magical eraser of all the bad things that have happened."
But that's not all. Tierney has a lot more to add on this subject. Gold Derby reports that the actress stated, "Nobody's in the clear in season three. Every season it's about the consequences of the choices made in the previous season, so it's going to be tricky for everyone in season three." It is evident from the manner in which Tierney gushes about her on-screen avatar that she's absolutely in love with the character.
The actress admitted that it has been a joy to play Helen on the show, and explained, "In Noah's point of view she was kind of this perfect martyr, but then you find out she's a lot more culpable in what made her marriage vulnerable, and watching her learn that was fun to play."
Other rumors surrounding the fictional character suggest that come season 3, she'll be caught up between trying to fix her relationship with her kids on one side and suffering from an uncertain future with her boyfriend Vik on the other.
