American football quarterback cum motivational speaker, Tim Tebow, shared on a picture with his nephew 'Joe Joe' on the former's birthday and acknowledged him for 'identifying with Jesus'. Tebow's post was liked by thousands of his fans, and wishes flooded in congratulating the pair.
The 29 year old is very vocal regarding the role God plays in his day to day life and takes to social media to profess that. Tebow is also known for his nature for motivating people.
His book Shaken: Discovering Your True Identity in the Midst of Life's Storms, which is slated to release in October, hopes that people can relate and get encouraged through his book.
According to ESPN, the 'Home Free' co-host is now currently in Arizona and Los Angeles to polish his hitting and fielding skills in baseball. Tebow is reportedly contemplating moving to baseball after his football career came to a halt. Tebow's agents confirmed the news.
"Obviously we support Tim in his pursuit of a baseball career, as we have in all his ventures" said Jimmy Sexton.
"Tim's athletic ability, his work ethic, his leadership and his competitiveness were evident in football and will show in baseball. Knowing Tim's passion and desire, we won't be surprised by anything he accomplishes," he added.
According ESPN, sources have let out the information that Tim already had a tryout with 'Los Angeles Dodgers' recently.
The agents also revealed that later this month, Tebow has planned to hold a workout for Major League Baseball teams. The team has reportedly showed interest on him.
A report suggests that he has already started signing baseball memorabilia with $125 per ball and $175 per bat.
