Manchester United travelled to Watford after the international break knowing a win was a must to stay in touching distance of the Champions League places on Saturday.
United started poorly conceding a penalty and 2 early goals. United went on to pull one back. However, Watford scored twice late on to condemn United to another defeat- their 5th in 7 matches.
United’s hierarchy met after the match and it was confirmed on Sunday morning that Ole would be relieved of his duties at Old Trafford after a miserable run in form. Ole has been at United for 3 years now and says goodbye to his beloved team, as the search begins to find his replacement.
Chelsea
Chelsea continued their dominance with a comfortable 3-0 win away at Leicester City. A tricky fixture for Chelsea however the Blues were simply too strong, coming away with all 3 points.
The win leaves Chelsea 3 points in front of Man City and the chasing pack- and with Europe back this week- will be a heavy fixture list coming up where they will be tested with squad rotation and games coming thick and fast.
Manchester City
Manchester City Kept the pressure up on Chelsea with a relatively easy 3-0 win at home Everton. City are now in great form and with goals coming either side of half time and late on they are hitting form at the right time before the busy schedule awaits.
Liverpool also kept their amazing form up with an emphatic 4-0 win at home to Arsenal. The win keeps Liverpool right on the heels of City and Chelsea only a point behind City whilst in unbelievably great form.
