How do I pray?
This was one of the first questions I asked myself when I first became a Christian. But I was unsure and unwise to ask my friends how to do this because I did not come from a Christian family or background.

Sun, sin, son
Every time I think of the sun coming out, I think of the Bible verse Lamentations chapter 3 verse 23, “They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness”. The sun reminds me that God has new mercies for me every morning. The rays of the sun feel like the rays of mercy. I may not necessarily see it, but I feel it.

Same story, different chapter
When I walked into church 13 years ago, I did not anticipate staying here for that long. To be honest, I had no idea or no concept of what having a home church was. Because this is where my journey as a Christian began.

A tea in time
I usually drink a cup of green tea every night. It is a cup of pure green tea because there's no caffeine in it to enable me to sleep. Not that I can’t sleep but it relaxes me. Unfortunately, I have this distaste of chamomile, so I have found pure green tea as my alternative.

The Anticipation of Grief
I sat at a funeral service. I had mentally prepared myself not to cry, not be emotional. I knew that once I started a drop of tear, it would soon flow into a river. Yes, I may have been mentally prepared. But was I emotionally prepared? Maybe not.

Content but not Satisfied
We as Christians should live a contented life. Grateful for what God has given us, rather than focusing on what we do or do not have. Being content at each stage of life.
